It's nice.
Journal Entry: Thu May 31, 2007, 12:51 AM
- Mood:
Happy - Listening to: A song in my head from a video game trailer.
- Reading: Hamlet.
- Watching: Complete Works of Shakespeare.
- Playing: With my phone that is no longer broken.
- Eating: Apples.
- Drinking: Not a lot.
It's nice to know there are still people who care.
It's nice to know there is some good left in the world.
It's nice to know there are going to be some decent people in the world I'm going to have to live in.
It's nice when he says "Good luck, goodnight and sweet dreams."
And even nicer when he ends it with "P.S. You remembered."
It's nice when he asks if I am okay.
And opens his arms even before I answer.
It's nice when he calls just to ask if everything is alright.
And nicer when he opens up.
It's nice when he defends me.
And even nicer when it's in front of his friends.
Things have sucked lately.
But Ash and Matt made everything look better, all in one day.
Thanks boys, I appreciate it.
What you did was nice.

When Darkness Falls.. [link]
Oh yes, indeed. That exam. It's for an education unit on Sociology (also known as 'fake-psychology' and 'the most bullshit excuse for a science the world has ever had the misfortune of enduring'). I apologise if you enjoy sociological perspectives, but I promise you: do this unit and you will hate sociology forever.
Apology not necessary! Physics is fun, and if that's where you're supposed to be at that time, then ten minutes late just doesn't cut the mustard (<-- whatever -that- means).
And don't worry about the fake sincerity statement - I understood where you were coming from, it's all good.
I agree with you there - as you grow up, your part-time job becomes less and less fun. Unless it is in some way connected to a career path you are pursuing... but even then, it can still be a drag. Just wait until the Christmas break next year - it will be more than a feeling of dread!
Now, make sure you do something fun over the weekend. And fill your ears with Metal of some description at all opportunities.
Shalom!

Huh...? Radio. What's going on with that radio?
So sorry I had to leave early and without seeing anybody off, I had Physics afterwards and my teacher complains that I'm always late from Art, so I figured he'd be a little more annoyed after ten minutes.
Also, I didn't actually mean to imply that you fake sincerity! If I used the term 'lol' at all, then it would have been somewhere in that fake sincerity statement, I swear. And thankyou for the praise! [Insert Big Smile Here.]
Aahh yes, the joys of Christmas break. Wrapping presents and making sure the decorations on the tree are evenly spaced and aesthetically pleasing are about the only two things I enjoy about it any more. Aside from getting lots of hours (and hence, lots of money to waste or save) at work, though this year I'm dreading it. Which I suppose is kind of sad, but that's what happens when one 'grows up', isn't it.
And, in regards to your work, I am far *from* too kind. I know you'll probably just shrug this off as me being nice out of politeness (because I know people do that to me with some of my work), but it's sincere. I really do think it's amazing. I am so incredibly envious of your talent and ability to draw, imagine and manipulate anything you wish. It's amazing.
Thank you, good luck, well wishes, positive energies, love, peace and Jazz!
Fare thee well Jordan, until next week..
- Kristie.

Huh...? Radio. What's going on with that radio?
My self is feeling somewhat less than marvelous at the moment... I'll be in higher spirits when, for better or worse, this last exam goes away.
I'm trying not to be offended by your callous mentioning of the possibility of fake sincerity (my typing like this doesn't really support my case, I know...). But you imagine correctly; I'm not that sort of person. I think your biro work is incredible.
Ah, good - I'm glad to read the true joys of the Christmas break are not lost on you.
And regarding my work, you're far too kind. But thank you... appreciation good people such as yourself is a large part of my motivation to continue.
I'll look forward to seeing you new work!

Huh...? Radio. What's going on with that radio?
How goes your marvelous self? Rather well I do very much hope.
I am most certainly going to get more biro work up here. I've already got two in the works, which will hopefully be better than the other two which are already here.
Hahaha, thank you for the love. It's rather awesome to hear, especially coming from one so skilled as yourself...unless it's fake sincerity. But I can't quite imagine you're that sort of person.
I care not for a social life during Christmas holidays, mainly because I've never really had one, also because I'm too distracted with drawing, reading, wrapping presents, decorating trees and eating copius amounts of all the things I shouldn't.
Thanks again, Jordan. I'd attempt to make a suitable comment about your work, but there's not enough words in the universe (or the english language even) to describe how much I appreciate it and absolutely adore it all.
Peace, much love and all that Jazz.
- Kristie.
Ohayou!
Kristie, get some more biro work up here. While I don't recommend you foregoing a social life as I have done for many a year, I do think biro skills such as your's deserve some attention over the Christmas break.
Abayo!

I tried once and it's just terrible. Don't you miss it?
And I'm certainly looking forward to your next addition man, whether you put into scraps or your gallery, I'm sure it'll be fantastic.

First, after "Jordan" gave me his myspace address for Five Dahlias, I found his myspace, then on his myspace I found his deviantart site, then on his deviantart site, I found an unusual comment, saw the super awesome Kurt Cobain portrait in the avatar and thought HOLY CRAP! THAT'S JOEL'S PICTURE! Which I remembered from Muso Magic.
Told you it was a long process.
And thank you. Your gallery owns though, I can't wait to see more of your drawings man, they're fan-freaking-tastic!

It's an interesting feeling knowing that random people are seeing my work...and actually liking it. Thanks heaps for the encouragement and all! Once I work out how to use this place properly I shall most certainly be trying to draw a bit more! At the moment I've only been able to write, but most of that will be going up here as well.
Thanks again!
